About us

City 2 Ocean Tours is a Cape Town tour company. We run private, guided trips for individuals, families, corporate groups and anyone else who would rather see the Cape properly than work out the logistics themselves.

The name is the job description. Cape Town sits in a narrow strip between a mountain and two coasts, and almost everything worth seeing is somewhere on the line between the city and the ocean — the harbours, the passes, the vineyards behind the mountains, the penguins on the False Bay side, the townships out on the Flats. We spend our days driving that line, and we know which order to do it in, which day to do it on, and where the light will be good when you get there.

Every tour is private. You are not put in a bus with strangers and you are not held to somebody else's schedule. Prices are quoted for the whole party — one to four people, or four to eight — so the cost is clear before you book, and it does not change if you stay an extra twenty minutes at a viewpoint.

Our guides are local, professional and genuinely interested in the place. Our vehicles are comfortable and air-conditioned, which matters more than you would think on a February afternoon at Cape Point. And if what you want is not on the list, tell us — we build personal itineraries as readily as we run the standard ones.
